On board a classic wooden boat you will sail to Biguá, a typical Delta estate. With its house sitting on stilts, sheltered from the water, with its orchard, a large wooded park, fruit farm, and a natural path full of island aromas. Visiting "La Isla" as the locals call it, allows you to know its people, its architecture, its nature.
The program:
11:00 h. Embark on the classic boat Connie.
11:30 h. Arrival in Biguá. Welcome to La Isla with a reception with snacks and drinks. While the barbecue reaches its point there is time to enjoy the garden and the river.
Outdoor lunch if the weather accompanies. Roast, variety of salads, dessert. In the afternoon it is very pleasant to go for a walk among the fruit trees of Biguá, and along a path through native forest, where you can see the wetland ecosystem, with grasslands and ceibos. You can also walk along the Espera and Rama Negra streams, through forests of bamboo, magnolias and azaleas, and through small bridges that cross ditches and streams. Azaleas are in bloom in spring and summer. In autumn they delight the yellow poplars. 16:00 h. Tea or coffee with homemade pastries. After tea it is time to embarked again on the Connie for a navigation on the San Antonio before returning to port. Disembarkation estimated at 6 pm.
