Laguna Capri

For those with little time to do a long walk, or come just for the day to El Chalten and wants to live a good impression of the area, this half-day trek is one of the best options, and you get to the first viewpoint Cerro Fitz Roy. The head of the trail is at the end of the village on the "Yellow Roof House", an ancient house of a stay, now stay within the same village. When you start the walk is a steady rise about 1 hour, which is done at a leisurely pace, which is used to rest in the photo stops overlooking the Rio de las Vueltas valley and the first partial views of the colossal Fitz Roy. A few meters away, take a detour that ends at the beautiful Laguna Capri, surrounded by forest, and where there is also a campsite. Return to El Chalten is mostly downhill.
